At Cision, we’re proud of our humble beginnings and how far we’ve come. Our story starts with one unique and exceptional man: Bob Pease.

Cision Technologies was started by my father, Bob Pease, in the 1970s in the basement of my parents’ house in Lawton, Michigan. At the time, there was no name associated with the hobby shop, it was just a place for my father to pursue his passion.

He was a toolmaker by day and when he wasn’t at work, he looked forward to spending time in his own shop. That hobby shop eventually grew into a small addition in my parents’ garage. And, in 1998, it officially became Pease Machining, at which point we built a new 4,000-square-foot facility on M40 in Lawton.

In 2012 Pease Machining became Cision Technologies. Shortly thereafter, we moved to our current location in Vicksburg, with over 14,000 square feet of space.

Dad passed away on August 14, 2013, but his legacy lives on through many of us here at Cision. My father’s passion was key in our formative years and is still the driving force behind our success, both today and in the future. As such, we have developed the following core values, which define us and what we look for in our staff:

  • We do what we say
  • We demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
  • We value time
  • We are team players
  • We strive to make a good impression
  • We take pride in what we do

While you will see these values expressed throughout our website, it is our sincerest hope that you experience them firsthand by affording us the opportunity to work with you and your staff.
